CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Registration is now open for the annual Little Miss & Mr. Clarksville Pageant. The children’s pageant will be held at Austin Peay’s Clement Auditorium on Saturday, August 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This annual event, hosted by Rewind 94.3, offers children a chance to build self-confidence and public speaking skills by being onstage in a positive environment.

The pageant will have multiple divisions for boys and girls from birth to six-year-old.

Categories include:

Itty Bitty (12-months and under)
Teeny (12-months to 24-months-old)
Tiny (Three & Four-Year-Olds)
Mini (Five & Six-Year-Olds)

Children must be born on or before the event date to fall into the appropriate categories.

Each age division will have a winner and a photogenic winner. Children will participant in a formal, express yourself, and interview category. Judging criteria is based on their confidence on stage, self-expression, and an age appropriate interview question. Winners will receive a crown, sash, and floral arrangement.

An overall Little Miss and Little Mr. Clarksville will be selected from among the division winners. They will represent the pageant in the community throughout the year by attending community events, including Stuff the Bus, the Toy Drive, and will get to ride on a float for the Christmas Parade.

The Pageant will be held at Austin Peay State University’s Clement Auditorium on August 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Tickets to attend the event are $8. Children under 10 are free. Participant registration will include one parent admission.
