American Red Cross volunteers from across the Tennessee River region are recognized for their work in the community.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee River Chapter of the American Red Cross hosted its Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon Saturday as volunteers were recognized for their years of service. The chapter also presented Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for dedication and work in the community.
“The Red Cross is made up of over a 90 percent volunteer work force, we can’t do what we do without the help of our volunteers and the hard work of our volunteers, said Executive Director of the Tennessee River Chapter of the Red Cross in Clarksville Pamela Holz. “We wanted to publicly thank them and recognize them for their service and just be together and celebrate their service to the community.”
