CLARKSVILLE,Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new member to the business community with a recent ribbon-cutting.
The Red Axe Throwing Company is owned by local veteran Arthur Finzen and has a mission to brings the community together through a centuries-old game, give patrons an outlet to reduce stress and provide fun entertainment for family and friends.
“What we do is we teach people to throw axes in a controlled and safe environment,” Finzen said. “We follow all of the league standards of the World Axe Throwing League of which we are affiliated with. …We try to build people’s confidence because when they first come in they don’t know what to expect.”
Red Axe Throwing Company is also BYOB and features a kid’s throwing lane. They also offer discounts for military, students and first responders.
The Red Axe Throwing Company is located at 307 Providence Blvd. They are open Wednesday-Friday from 4-10 p.m. and Noon-4 p.m. by appointment only, Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-10 P.m. and are closed Monday and Tuesday except by appointment.
