CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – While summer is nearly six weeks away, the weekend will serve as a reminder of how hot it gets in middle Tennessee with temperatures at or near the record high.
Meteorologist Matt Reagan with the National Weather Service in Nashville said Friday’s expected high of 88 will exceed the record of 87 set back in 2005.
Saturday’s high is 90, which would tie the record and Sunday’s high of 89 is 2 degrees above the record for that date.
The National Weather Service records for Clarksville only go back to 1983.
