CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Weekend temperatures are expected to be the hottest so far this year, and the public is urged to prepare for extreme heat.
The National Weather Service is forecasting highs from 88 to 92 degrees through Monday. Heat index values could approach 100.
Anyone who has to be outdoors this weekend is urged to stay hydrated, wear comfortable clothing, and use sunscreen.
Hot temperatures are dangerous for children and pets. It is against the law to leave them unattended in vehicles.
