CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have released the results from the latest checkpoint/saturation patrols in the area.
Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Clarksville Police Department, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted a checkpoint and patrol Aug. 10 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
The following are the results:
DUI: 3
Revoked/Suspended Drivers: 7
Speeding: 36
Improper Turns: 4
Insurance Law: 19
Traffic Signals/Signs: 15
Simple Possession: 2
Seat Belt: 2
Child Restraint: 1
Light/Equipment Violations: 82
Other Driver License Law: 7
Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia: 3
Failure to Use Reasonable Care: 2
Move Over Law: 1
Registration: 18
Other Charges: 8
Total Charges: 210 (81 of those were warnings)
