Raymond Edward Bott, age 87, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home in Clarksville surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Defiance, Ohio he served in the 101st Airborne where he met his wife Geneva Ann Batson Bott. They spent their 64 years together traveling extensively, raising a loving family.
A builder by trade they transformed many homes together. Flipping houses before it was cool. He supported many charities. The Veteran’s Fund was his favorite. He was a very loving and sensible man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family will gather with friends on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with Military Honors being rendered at 4:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
In addition to his wife Raymond is survived by his children; Jeffrey(Becky)Bott and Barbara (Mark) Dawson, grandson Christopher Bott, step grandchildren; Brett (Scarlett) Dawson, Brittney (Travis) Dawson, Jon (Jamie) Dawson, and great grandchildren; Daniel, Anna Grace, Arianna, and Landon.
