Ray Trogdon Rye, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare.
Ray was born October 24, 1925, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late William Henry Rye and Mary Elizabeth Burney Rye. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Van Dillon Rye and sister, Virgie Roe.
Mr. Rye was a retired manager from A&P Grocery. He was a US Army Veteran, having served in World War II.
No services are planned, and his remains are to be cremated.
Ray is survived by his wife, Gerry Lee Workman Rye; one brother, Henry L. Rye of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
