CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – On Monday, December 3, Norman Quirion turned in his letter of resignation as Executive Director of The Two Rivers Company (TRC) to TRC Board Chairman Charlie Koon.
“Mr. Quirion has resigned as the Executive Director of the Two Rivers Company to pursue other interests, effective December 30, 2018. The TRC would like to thank Norman for the time and energy he committed to our organization and our community. He has helped set the table for the continued development of Downtown Clarksville and we are excited about our future. We wish Norman the best of luck in his future endeavors,” said TRC Chairman Charlie Koon.
In the resignation letter Quirion stated, “I would like to thank the Clarksville and Montgomery County and the Two Rivers Company for the privilege to serve as Executive Director of TRC. The opportunity I was given to see firsthand the commitment and generosity of the board, the committees and supporters of TRC has been amazing. Clarksville’s downtown is the heartbeat of our community and I look forward to watching and helping it continue to grow and flourish.”
The TRC Executive Committee will begin the search process for a new executive director in January 2019. In the meantime, business will proceed as normal.
