CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – On Saturday, November 10, 2018, the Distinguished Steppers Unlimited (DSU), in partnership with Clarksville Parks and Recreation, will host the Quick Silver Fall Social Event, its 2nd Annual Veterans Day Celebration dedicated to honoring the service of military veterans in the Clarksville community.

While the group will continue the tradition of providing meaningful programs and enjoyable social events for community members at the Kleeman Recreation Center, this fall event will highlight the sacrifices and service of the many military veterans who reside in Clarksville.  Active-duty members, veterans, family, friends, and community members are invited to partake in a hearty meal and motivational program.

The Quick Silver “Star-Spangled Veterans Day Celebration” will be an opportunity for community members to gather, reflect on military service experiences, and seek support from others who have had the veterans’ experience or have had the experience of a military spouse or family member.

During the program, there will be keynote message by a guest speaker, presentations, and the opportunity for veterans and families to reconnect with fellow veterans, military family members, and community members.

The Quick Silver Veterans Day Celebration is a seated meal event and is free and open to the public.  Tickets are required for all attendees to ensure adequate seating and meal accommodations.  Tickets are available at the Kleeman Recreation Center located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
