CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – After the devastating tornado struck Clarksville on Dec. 9, Kyle King of the Q Morning Crew with Kyle and Tiffany set out on a mission to support the new community he calls home, and ultimately he raised $6,500.

Since he streams on Twitch – at The Kyle King Show – he decided to set a goal with his online community to raise $300. “We hit that, and then I moved it to $500, and we hit that, so I moved it to $1,000 and it hit,” King said.

He decided to have some fun and place a sports bet on eight games that would take him and his followers through the 15-hour stream. It ended up being a massive payout of $4,500. His Twitch community raised $2,000 on top of that. He knew he could raise some money with his online friends, but he didn’t expect that much.

King said 100% of the money is going to YAIPak Outreach. He praised YAIPak founder Sherry Nicholson and the organization’s team of volunteers, and everything they have been doing in tornado relief.

“I’m new to this town, I’ve only been here since April, but since I’ve been here the community has embraced me. They have been so gracious to me and this being my new home, I really wanted to stress that I wanted to do everything I can do to help,” he said.
