CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville–Montgomery County Public Library will host a special commemorative Story Time honoring the memory of Jean Nichols and her 30 years of service to children’s literacy in Clarksville. The event will take place January 17 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the library.
Known to generations of young readers as “Miss Jean,” Nichols provided children’s programming for more than three decades. She is being recognized for her dedication to providing high-quality early literacy programs for children and families in the community.
The program will feature stories, songs, and activities that Miss Jean enjoyed sharing during her Story Times. The event is open to all ages and community members wishing to fondly remember and celebrate Miss Jean are encouraged to attend.
