CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is thrilled to welcome the Austin Peay State University Men’s Basketball for an afternoon filled with story times, crafts, autographs, and even a little hoop time. The event will take place on June 21 from 3:30 pm-5 pm.
Players and coaches will share words of encouragement with those in attendance as they prepare for the upcoming basketball season.
“Sports can have such a positive impact on individuals and the communities in which they live,” said Christina Riedel, Library Director. “We are excited to have these student-athletes visit their library, show off some basketball skills, and share about the dedication required to excel both on and off the court.
Library patrons will have a second chance to meet players and coaches on July 26 from 3:30-5 p.m.
Both events are free and open to the public. For more information about the Summer Slam Dunk event, please visit facebook.com/CMCPublicLibrary, our website at Clarksville.org, or contact the library directly at 931-648-8826.
