CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Chealsey Pridgen, a senior at Northeast High School, signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at Walter’s State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee.

Chealsey has been a three year starter and three time All District performer for the Lady Eagles Softball team.

Chealsey finished her junior season hitting .385, with a .486 on base percentage, and only 2 strikeouts in 109 plate appearances.

In the words of Coach Brady, “Her work ethic, determination, and the drive she has to come out and give 110% everyday, whether it’s practice, a game, or conditioning, is a part of what makes her so special. Her speed, stellar defensive play, and ability to make things happen offensively are qualities that we will certainly miss after this season.”

In addition to her success on the field at Northeast, Chealsey has also played for Coach Nick Robards and the Clarksville Patriots out of Clarksville, TN.

Her sister, Rikki Arkansas, is a junior on the Austin Peay State University softball team this year.
