Preston Pruitt passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on September 19, 1964, in Clarksville, TN to Julian Lee and Mary Jo (Keatts) Pruitt who preceded him in death.
Along with his parents, maternal grandparents, Clayton and Bessie (Mullins) Keatts of Clarksville, TN, and paternal grandparents, George Hovey and Florence (Lark) Pruitt of Greenville, South Carolina precede him in death.
Preston attended Northwest High School and Purdue University. He was previously employed by the Department of Homeland Security in Austin, Texas.
He is survived by his sister, Cindy Smith, and brother, Julian Hovey Pruitt. Preston was divorced with no children, but he had the two beloved cats that he loved like his own “babies”. He had a passion for life, sports, travel, designer cars, and played piano.
At his request, there will not be a funeral but a private memorial.
