CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennesseans will head to the polls in Montgomery County and across the state on Super Tuesday, March 3, to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary and the Montgomery County Primary. The polls will be open in Montgomery County from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
During recent early voting, Elizabeth Black, Administrator of Elections in Montgomery County, said voting was steady with an overall turnout of 6 percent in the county.
More than 300,000 Tennesseans voted in person or absentee during the two-week early voting period, which ended February 25.
County residents will vote in several local races along with the Presidential Preference Primary.

Highway Supervisor – Candidates on the Ballot for Montgomery County Highway Supervisor include Republicans Jeff Bryant and Kevin Griffy.
Independent candidates for the office of Highway Supervisor, Stayton Black Jr. and Bryan Knight will only appear on the August 6, 2020 ballot.
Voters are reminded that they will need to bring a Tennessee or Federally issued photo ID with them to vote. More information about what types of ID are acceptable can be found at sos.tn.gov.
