CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Academy boys basketball toppled Nashville Christian on Wednesday 44-42 to earn their fourth consecutive region tournament appearance.

The Cougars will take on Goodpasture in the DII-A District 4 semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Donelson Christian Academy.

Lady Cougars roar past Lady Saints 

The Lady Cougars moved past Mt. Juliet Christian Academy with a 54-37 win.

Clarksville Academy girls basketball will take on Davidson Academy at 4 p.m. Friday at Donelson Christian Academy.

Eagles knock off Wildcats at home

Northeast boys basketball clinched a share of the District 10-AAA regular-season title after taking down Clarksville 73-52.

Isaiah Farrior had a team-high 20 points for the Eagles while also finishing with five rebounds and three steals.

Northeast senior Ty Jackson stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, six rebounds, fives assists and three steals on Senior Night.

For Clarksville, Jamarco Mimms recorded his 1,000th career point after finishing with 11 points on the night. JJ Wheat led all scorers with 21 points.

Knights pick up district win on Senior Night

On Kenwood’s Senior Night, the Knights took down West Creek 61-52.

Kenwood will travel to take on Clarksville Friday, needing a win to keep their regular-season title hopes alive.

Rossview downs Cheatham County in non-district affair

Rossview boys basketball came away with a 54-45 win against Cheatham County.

The Hawks will head to Springfield to face off against the Yellow Jackets on Friday.

Lady Hawks continue superb play

Rossview girls basketball moved to 21-3 on the year after taking down the defending Class AA state champion Cheatham County Lady Cubs 56-50 on the road.

The Lady Hawks made 11 three-pointers, recorded 15 assists and pulled down 16 offensive rebounds in the win.

Lady Wildcats hold off Lady Eagles

Clarksville girls basketball held on to defeat Northeast 48-45 on the road.

Mya Collins had a team-high 19 points for the Lady Wildcats followed by Erin Lackey with 14 points.
