CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Between having 60-100 events “locked in” every year, and with other events booked, the F&M Bank Arena will be active every other night once in opens in July 2023, according to Sean Henry, CEO of the Nashville Predators.
“We want to be sure we can open it for every service group, every civic group, to have their breakfasts, their lunches, whatever it may be. Every team should celebrate things in our building, every high school should have a graduation there,” Henry said during the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Power Breakfast at Old Glory Distilling Company on Thursday.

He said the 6,000-seat arena will open July 1, 2023, but they plan to have a few soft-opening events before then.
“When was the last time you talked about a bank, a higher education (institution), a bunch of politicians, and a hockey team, coming together, to talk about community, growth, optimism, encouragement, work ethic, and what we could do that no one thought was possible? That’s what we’ve got right now, and that’s exciting,” Henry said.
He pointed out the advantages that F&M Bank Arena will bring to Austin Peay State University basketball. “We’re going to take this incredible program that Austin Peay has, two young new coaches, and allow them to recruit differently, present their programs differently, and have better success than they have already,” Henry said.
