CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – As a kickoff to the Christmas season, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council, in partnership with First Presbyterian Church and Trinity Episcopal Church, invite everyone to the Fifth Annual SpiritFest in and around the Downtown Commons.

SpiritFest will be held in Downtown Clarksville on December 7 from 2-5 p.m, three hours before Clarksville’s 60th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. The event will feature a visit from Santa, rides on the Express Bus, inflatables, live music, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity scene with animals.

SpiritFest will be held between the Downtown Commons, First Presbyterian Church (213 Main Street) and Trinity Episcopal Church (317 Franklin Street). An event map and schedule can be found here. Physical copies will also be available at the event.

The Planning Commission parking lot will be open for guests’ use at SpiritFest, as well at the APSU’s parking lots on the corners of Main and Fourth Street.

“This combination of SpiritFest and the parade lends joy and splendor to the holiday season,” said Rev Gregory L Glover, FPC Pastor. “So many organizations, businesses and individuals pitch in to provide activities and diversions in the heart of our city for, literally, every age group to enjoy.”
