CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Austin Peay State University forced five Tennessee State turnovers and racked up more than 250 yards on the ground Saturday night, earning a 49-34 victory in a physical contest at Fortera Stadium.
With the win, the Govs evened their overall record, earned their season’s first Ohio Valley Conference victory and struck their first blow in defending the Sgt. York Trophy won in 2017.
