MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Patrol deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint about a possible marijuana growing operation shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday at 2113 Ferry Road, according to Public Information Officer Jamie Dexter.
When they arrived, deputies found a small marijuana plant growing outside behind the home. Deputies then detained the residents and contacted the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force (JDDTF) to assist in the investigation.
Authorities charged William Fannin, 45, who gave a 2113 Ferry Road address, with manufacturing marijuana, simple possession, and two counts of unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000.
Upon searching the residence, agents with the 19th JDDTF found 15 marijuana plants, grow equipment, and paraphernalia.
