CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Department of Health confirms 56 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in the state since yesterday.
Montgomery County has reported one confirmed case of coronavirus. The patient is currently in an isolation room in Tennova Medical Center.

Most patients with COVID-19 have a mild respiratory illness including fever, cough and shortness of breath. The Tennessee Department of Health strongly encourages Tennesseans to wash your hands often with soap and water and to not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
The CDC has urged citizens to refrain from large gatherings of 10 or more people for the next eight weeks.
