NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville International Airport was evacuated due to a suspicious package Wednesday morning.
An airport K-9 alerted authorities to a bag on the C concourse around 7:45 a.m.
Viewers told News 2 an announcement was made on the public address system throughout the airport to exit the airport immediately.
A witness said the evacuation has been calm and orderly.
A representative for the airport classified the dog’s notification as a “false positive.”
The all-clear was issued around 9 a.m.
