HOPKINSVILLE, Ky (CLARKSVILLENOW) – For the second time in less than a year, Ferrell’s Hamburgers has caught fire. The first broke out in September at their Madisonville, Ky location. Thursday evening, a fire broke out at Ferrell’s Hamburgers in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Fire Department dispatch received a call at 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, flames and smoke were coming out the of the building. The restaurant is closed until further notice.
Although two employees are reported to have been in the business at the time, they were evacuated safely. No injuries have been reported.
Officials say the fire came from the grill. 15 firefighters from three stations were on the scene.
Ferrell’s has been in operation since 1929.
