CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A new veteran-owned business, Poppin in the City, is getting ready to open in north Clarksville, offering a variety of gourmet popcorn flavors.

Terrelski Davis, one of two owners, came to Clarksville with his family when he was stationed at Fort Campbell. After leaving the Army, they decided to stay and open their own business.

Poppin in the City will offer over 30 flavors of popcorn, including cheddar cheese, caramel, Chicago mix, cookies and cream, birthday cake, dill pickle and more, Davis said. All the popcorn is popped fresh in-house.

Davis said they are working on adding some vegan options.

Poppin in the City will be available for local events and fundraisers. Davis said they will offer options for local businesses to get custom popcorn bags with their logo on them.

The shop does not have an official opening date set yet, though their website says they plan to open this month. Davis said they are busy testing recipes and finishing their store front. Their website allows for deliver options.

The shop is at 265 Stonecrossing Drive, near 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Peacher’s Mill Road. They will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
