LA VERGNE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Pool and Spa Depot has donated $4,000 to Folds of Honor.

Peter von Hoppffgarten, owner of Pool and Spa Depot, presented the check to widow and Folds of Honor public speaker, Crissie Carpenter and her son Landon. The check presentation took place at Pool and Spa Depot’s headquarters in La Vergne on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

Crissie Carpenter lost her husband L.Cpl. Andrew Carpenter in February of 2011 from a gunshot wound he received while in Afghanistan. Mrs. Carpenter was one month away from delivering their son, Landon, when Andy passed.

The proceeds were raised from a portion of each sale made at Pool and Spa Depot’s four retail locations during Memorial Day weekend.

Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. Pool and Spa Depot is honored to partner with Folds of Honor, and is pleased to donate $4,000 towards a scholarship.

“Pool and Spa Depot will continue to partner with the Folds of Honor organization. Their unwavering commitment to help military families is truly admirable,” said Peter von Hopffgarten, owner of Pool and Spa Depot.
