CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Instagram messages found on the phone of the victim in last week’s fatal shooting on Buckshot Drive revealed he was lured out of his home by his ex-girlfriend, and her current boyfriend was there waiting for him.
According to court records obtained by Clarksville Now, Arahmonie Majors, 17, was found dead at the scene.
Robert Holland and Miracle Bailey, both 18, have been charged with criminal homicide.

The shooting
At about 8:42 p.m. on Dec. 8, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in the area of Buckshot and Whitetail Drive, where they found the victim, Majors, lying in the street with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several .40 caliber shell casings were found at the scene, along with at least one 9 mm shell casing, the court records said.
A cell phone was also recovered, and detectives with CPD’s Special Operations Homicide Unit determined it belonged to Majors.
Instagram messages
On Majors’ phone, detectives found records of Instagram messages sent and received just moments before his death. The account Majors was messaging with was found to belong to Bailey.
During an interview, Bailey told detectives she and Holland were together, and Majors was her ex-boyfriend, the court records said.
She told detectives that on the day of the murder, she was with Holland when she received a call from Majors. This allegedly upset Holland, and the couple got in an argument about the call. Holland then took her home, according to the records.
The records said Bailey told detectives that after Holland took her home, he contacted her and told her to video call Majors to tell him she was coming to meet him, and that she was near his home.
Majors’ family members told detectives Majors was on a video call with a woman when he left the house and walked out to meet her.
The records also said Bailey was aware that Holland had a handgun earlier in the day, and that she changed her Instagram handle immediately after the shooting.
The Jeep chase
The court records describe the car chase that ended in the Lincoln Homes area.
Witnesses at the scene of the shooting described seeing a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee speeding away from the area.
At about 8:53 p.m., just 10 minutes after CPD responded, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies saw a Jeep matching the description speeding near Publix on Madison Street.
The deputies caught up to the Jeep and tried to pull it over. The Jeep accelerated, and the deputies gave chase through the Austin Peay State University campus, the court records said.
The Jeep stopped in the area of Lincoln Drive, and four people ran. The deputies pursued them on foot and eventually caught the driver, identified as Holland, and arrested him.
At the time of his arrest, Holland was wearing a black ski mask, and deputies found a .40 caliber pistol along the path he ran, according to the court records.
In the back seat of the Jeep, a 9 mm magazine with bullets was recovered, and a witness from the scene identified the Jeep as the same one seen leaving the shooting.
During an interview with detectives, Holland also allegedly admitted to driving the Jeep.
Holland has been charged with criminal homicide, two counts of evading arrest and reckless endangerment, while Bailey has been charged with criminal homicide. Both have a court hearing on Dec. 17.
