CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police were able to apprehend a man caught stealing from a Clarksville business on August 22. Police received several tips, and the public assistance identified James Vance as the potential suspect.
Vance was a frequent visitor to the business which he broke into on Tiny Town Road. The business owner was not aware of his name.
While investigating Detective Koski determined James Vance was a suspect. Vance was taken into custody August 27 around 10:00 pm on Copeland Rd.
There was drug paraphernalia in his possession when he was arrested.
On August 22, Vance is suspected of breaking into and stealing an undisclosed amount of money and other items from a game machine.
James Vance, 51, was charged with Burglary, Felony Vandalism, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and served with an outstanding warrant for Violation of Community Corrections. His bond is $32,500.
