HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police arrested three people during a traffic stop on drug-related charges on Sunday night.
According to a press release, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Sergeant William Manzanares observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lane on US 41, in the city limits of Hopkinsville.
Among the occupants were Amber Dawn Tinsley, 23, Antwan T. Pugh Jr., 22, and Michael David Chester, 25, all of of Evansville, IN.
A K-9 unit from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and helped officers find four pounds of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and cash. All three occupants were arrested and booked into the Christian County Jail.
Pugh was charged with the following offenses:
1) Trafficking marijuana, 8 oz. or less than 5 lbs.
2) Drug paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
Chester was charged with the following offenses:
1) Trafficking marijuana, 8 oz. or less than 5 lbs.
2) Drug paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
Tinsley was charged with the following offenses:
1) Careless driving
2) No operator’s license
3) Trafficking marijuana, 8 oz. or less than 5 lbs.
4) Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
