CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred within hours of each other on Wednesday, August 13.

A total of six people were injured in the two vehicle shootings.

The first incident was reported around 4:46 p.m. on Caldwell Ln. A witness told police a dark vehicle was parked in front of her home and another light-colored sedan pulled up to it and began shooting.

The vehicles drove away from the scene, and police found the sedan at the intersection of Emory and Strafford Streets with three people inside, two of whom had sustained gunshot wounds.

During the second incident, a witness told police he heard what he thought were fireworks outside his home on Treeland Dr. around 9 p.m. When he opened the door, he saw the occupant of a white Ford F-150 shoot at a white car nearby.

Both vehicles sped off toward Trenton Rd. where 24 shell casings were later found by police.

Four people, including a juvenile, sustained gunshot wounds.

No suspects have identified in either case. Both are still under investigation.
