CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two persons of interest suspected of several vehicle burglaries in the area of Riverwood Place.
Police are investigating two separate incidents, one of which took place on June 22 and the other on June 26. CPD is unsure if the two crimes are related, however, detectives obtained video surveillance which shows two individuals attempting to break into vehicles in the area, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
As a reminder to the community, the Clarksville Police Department has emphasized the important of “Park Smart” and said that being a victim of vehicle burglary is avoidable in most cases. “Park Smart” is comprised of the following steps:
- Lock your vehicle.
- Secure your valuables, including firearms.
- Take your keys and key fob with you.
- Don’t leave your vehicle running and unattended.
