Update, Jan. 25: After a weeklong investigation, police have arrested a 64-year-old suspect after they received a tip through the Clarksville-Montgomery County Crime Stoppers Tipline.
H was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with burglary. He was already serving a parole sentence for theft-related charges, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are investigating a burglary at a local business where the suspect was caught on security footage breaking in and taking several items.
According to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien, on Jan. 4, at approximately 3:16 a.m., an unknown male entered Clarksville Fasteners at 1017 College St. after breaking through the glass front door and stole several items that were located on the main counter.
Surveillance cameras were able to capture footage of the suspect and his vehicle. Now, Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
