CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an attempted robbery suspect.
Police responded to a robbery call at Exxon gas station on Hwy 76 Tuesday around 1:17 a.m. The clerk told police an unknown white male wearing a gray hoodie and black gym shorts entered the store and attempted to purchase a drink.
The suspect then pulled out a small knife and demanded all the money in the register. The store clerk closed the register and fled to a closed room and the suspect left the business without money or merchandise.
The clerk said the suspect fled in a gold vehicle that was possibly a Toyota Camry.
