Update: Clarksville Police have reported the car used in the vehicle pursuit was originally stolen from Clarksville. The two juveniles involved in the incident have since been released to their guardians, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A vehicle pursuit out of Hopkinsville ended on the Clarksville Greenway early Sunday morning with the arrest of one adult and two juveniles being taken into custody.

The pursuit started in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and it came to an end near East Pine Mountain Road, just off Peachers Mill Road, on the Clarksville Greenway trail, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media.

The suspects fled the vehicle and ran from police. The woods around the Greenway were searched. The vehicle was a red Toyota SUV with a Tennessee license plate, Dash 10 reported.

Hopkinsville Police told WKDZ in Kentucky they tried to stop an SUV on East First Street after city cameras alerted them it had been reported stolen. The driver fled, reaching speeds of over 100 mph, and the pursuit continued into Tennessee on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Three juveniles were in the SUV, and they ran from police but have been apprehended. No one was injured.

Clarksville Now has reached out to CPD for additional information.

Hopkinsville Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Clarksville Police responded.
