CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – For the third time this week, Clarksville Police are trying to negotiate with a barricaded subject.

At about 5:42 a.m., police were called to a domestic incident on Emerald Court between North Henderson Way and Greenspoint Drive, according to Sgt. Charles Gill.

“This situation is isolated to one residence, but we ask the public to remain in their homes if possible.

Sections of Emerald, North Henderson Way and Greenspoint will be closed until this situation can be resolved.

Police are asking residents to to use Barkers Mill Road to get in and out of the neighborhood until further notice.

Emerald is in north Clarksville between Tiny Town Road and the Kentucky state line.

This is the third barricade incident in Clarksville this week.

On Wednesday, a woman set a house on fire and fired two gunshots inside the house before she was taken down with a beanbag round.

On Saturday, a man took a toddler and had a standoff with police before killing himself.
