CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department will observe Police Memorial Day Friday, May 15, with a 10:30 a.m. ceremony at its headquarters building, 135 Commerce Street.
In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designates May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date
falls as Police Week.
The public is invited to attend this event which honors our profession, and especially our fallen officers. A Memorial Wreath will be presented and flowers will be placed on the wreath in memory of those officers.
