CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man with a lengthy criminal history has been arrested again and charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft.
Police said 30-year-old Devone Maurice Clement was named as the suspect in a break-in at a business on Hornberger Lane Nov. 9. Clement is accused of breaking into several vehicle and stealing a 2011 Honda Accord. The car was later recovered at a convenience store on Dover Rd. after it had been abandoned in the parking lot.
Clement, who was on probation at the time of the alleged crimes, was taken into custody by police at a residence on Notgrass Rd.
He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with six counts of vehicle burglary, burglary of a business, auto theft, driving on a revoked license, and violation of probation. His bond was set at $210,000.
Clement’s past charges include aggravated robbery, evading arrest, traffic violations, and drug and probation violations.
