CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department announced they have located a suspect wanted for his connection to the Summit Heights shooting that took place in March.
Khalil Titington, 24, was arrested in Evansville, Indiana after being on the run for four months, according to spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
Titington had warrants out for his arrest, which included aggravated assault and vehicle burglary, according to a previous report. He is the third suspect to be arrested in connection to a shooting where a woman was shot in her back once.
The victim’s wounds were considered non-threatening, and she was released from the hospital shortly after the incident.
Titington is awaiting extradition before he faces the consequences for the crime he allegedly committed. CPD thanked the community for their assistance throughout the investigation.
