CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is responding to a wreck involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of Madison Street and Clearview Drive, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
The wreck happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday, and injuries have been reported. The motorcyclist has been flown to Nashville by a life-flight helicopter, and their condition has not been released.
Eastbound lanes of Madison Street are currently closed, and traffic is being directed through the parking lot, according to Beaubien. Fatal Accident Crash Investigators are currently on their way to the scene.
For the time being, CPD is asking motorists to find an alternative route until the roadway is reopened.
