SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Robertson County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal crash on State Route 76 in Springfield that occurred Saturday afternoon.
Robertson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a crash on SR 76 and Gum Station Road at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Brodie Wilkinson III, was found shot in a wrecked vehicle along Highway 76E and Possum Trot Road around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
WKRN News 2 reports that 28-year-old Daniel Scott, 27-year-old Darick Hinerman, and 23-year-old Jennifer Henning were taken into custody around 1 a.m. Sunday in connection with Wilkinson’s death.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office said all three suspects are charged with criminal homicide and are currently being held at the Robertson County Detention Facility.
