Update, 3 p.m.: Police have the suspect in custody, Beaubien said.
At about 2:40 p.m., he surrendered without incident. Police have not said what charges he is wanted on.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are in a standoff with a suspect at the A&W Motel on Madison Street.
At about 12:30 p.m., Clarksville Police began trying to get the suspect, who has warrants out of Nashville, to come out of the motel, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
At 2:15 p.m., police had a perimeter set up around the motel.
“This situation is isolated to one residence, but we ask the public to try and avoid the area directly around the A&W Motel,” Beaubien said.
No further information was released.
