Update, 8:40 p.m.: The barricaded person, a 50-year old woman, was taken into custody by officers with the Clarksville Police Department.
At 8:11 p.m., officers entered the residence and placed her under arrest. No officers nor the woman were injured, however, the woman was taken to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville to be checked out before being taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
She has been charged with aggravated domestic assault and false imprisonment. Details about why she was charged have not been released by police.
The roadway is back open.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have set up a perimeter around a home in the Rossview area of Clarksville, where they are negotiating with a barricaded individual.
The perimeter is around 1204 Gentry Drive, off of Powell Road, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
It’s a domestic situation, and it started around noon today, isolated to one house, he said.
CPD is asking the public to remain in their homes if possible. Sections of Gentry Drive are shut down, and no traffic is being allowed down Brigade Drive to Gentry or near the residence until this situation can be resolved.
