CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have identified the woman killed in Wednesday’s shooting on Mitchell Street as 36-year-old Tanesha Hardy of Clarksville.
On May 23 around noon, the Clarksville Police Department in conjunction with Oak Grove Police Department took a person of interest in the case into custody without incident. He was identified earlier this week as 27-year-old Timothy Ogburn.
Ogburn was charged and booked into the Christian County Jail for felon in possession of a firearm. The charge was unrelated to the Clarksville murders.
After Ogburn is extradited to Clarksville, he will be booked into the Montgomery County Jail for aggravated assault and felon in possession of a firearm, which are also unrelated.
Police said other individuals may have been involved in the homicides. Police are asking them to come in so they can provide their side of the events. No further information about these people was released.
