CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Donna Allen, 59, was visiting Clarksville from Florida to see her son, Eric Davis, and his family when the tornados struck. The Davis family not only lost their home and belongings, but a cherished family member as well.

“She was my world,” Davis told Clarksville Now. “She was a woman that was so resilient, a great mother to her kids, someone who went through so much in life. She was a joy … to know her was to love her. … She was the life of the party and one of the things I appreciated the most about her was her innate spirit.”

According to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien, the others killed were 34-year-old Stephen Kwaah Hayes of Clarksville and 10-year-old Arlan Coty.

Allen and young Arlan were both killed in homes on Henry Place Boulevard.

How to donate

Donations to help the Davis family can be sent to the GoFundMe that was set up by his employer, Crossroads Campus. According to the GoFundMe, the Davis family’s four children, who are 12, 13, 15 and 16, were not at home when the storm hit.

“Love those who love you,” Davis said. “Continue to be present, because life is so valuable, and it can be gone in a blink of an eye. Obviously, I know there are so many families that were devasted by this catastrophe, but losing my mom and everything with four kids, you have to rebuild.”
