CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) apprehended a ring of shoplifters Tuesday, June 4 around 6:30 p.m. at Governor’s Square Mall.photo

According to a report from CPD, mall security saw two females and one male shoplift merchandise from Victoria’s Secret and fled the scene, heading towards I-24 in a red 4-door sedan.

The vehicle was pulled over and searched, and officers discovered $3,232 worth of stolen goods from several stores. The suspects also had in their possession scissors, duct tape, unused shopping bags from 14 stores, aluminum foil, and screwdrivers. These items were used to alter, remove, or stop the detection of security tags.

Tawonda Parrish (23), Shelby Cange (21), Audrieanna Johnson (23), and Rico Brown (18) were taken into custody. All four are residents of Nashville.
