Update, July 25: On Thursday, Clarksville Police released the name of a suspect, and an arrest warrant was issued. Friday morning, CPD said the woman may have been misidentified, and the warrant would be recalled. That suspect’s information has been removed from this article.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a woman involved in a vehicle theft on Tuesday.
On July 23, at approximately 8 p.m., the woman stole a car from the Zurich Court area before abandoning it on Teakwood Drive, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

A witness reported seeing the suspect, a white woman wearing a white shirt and pink shorts, running from the vehicle.
Video cameras captured the suspect, and CPD detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying her.
