BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — Three people have been found dead inside a parked car with Tennessee license plates in an industrial area a few miles outside of Los Angeles.

Burbank police Sgt. Derek Green says a parking enforcement officer found the car around 7 a.m. Tuesday and called for help after peering inside and seeing a body.

WKRN News 2 has confirmed the vehicle had license plates from Montgomery County.

Paramedics found three people in the car.

It’s not immediately clear how they died but Green says the case is being handled as a homicide investigation.

A report from the Burbank Leader says the car was a maroon or burgundy Jeep Patriot.

According to ABC News 7 in California, two of three bodies found inside the car have been identified as missing brothers from Bakersfield. They were identified as Lucas Josh Amiama, 23, and Jan Carlos Amiama, 21. The third person’s identity has not yet been released.
