CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The range of fashion options continues to grow at Governor’s Square Mall.
Plus-size clothing store Torrid will open its doors in June, in a 3,472 square foot space on the mall’s Belk Concourse.
Torrid’s collection of trendy plus-size clothing includes everything from casual to party-ready dresses, shirts, pants, jeans, skirts, outerwear, shorts, intimate apparel, footwear, accessories and beauty products.
Torrid’s inclusive, judgment-free nature includes its unique size chart, which runs from 00 to 6. It’s a more precise version of sizing small through extra large. For example, 1 is 1X, which on a standard size chart is a 14-16; 2 is 2X, which is sizes 18-20, and so on.
Founded in 2001, there are now more than 400 Torrid stores in 36 states. The new location at Governor’s Square Mall will be the first in northern Tennessee.
Governor’s Square Mall, located in Clarksville, Tennessee, has been serving the community since 1986. It comprises over one million square feet of retail space.
