HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Planters Bank announces the addition of Bruce McClure as VP/Manager Information Systems. McClure replaces former VP/Information Technology Manager Kevin Hight, who returned to school after working a 16-year-stint with Planters.
McClure is an experienced information technology executive, program/project manager and diagnostics specialist. For the past seven years, he worked as VP/Chief Information Officer at FNB Bank in Mayfield, Ky. Prior to that he worked as IT Manager at Sportable Scoreboards in Murray, Ky.

McClure received a degree in electronic engineering from the Institute of Electronic Technology. He also completed the Bank Technology Management School at the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis. He enjoys web design/development and graphic design. He has been married for 12 years and has a 6-year-old daughter.
Founded in 1996, Planters Bank is headquartered in Hopkinsville, Ky. The bank maintains seven additional offices in Western Kentucky, plus five offices and a mortgage office in Clarksville, Tenn.
