CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Planters Bank today announces the kickoff of its second annual Season of Giving.
Throughout the months of October, November, and December, each Planters Bank location will be raising money for a local charity through cookbook sales and a social media giving campaign.
With recipes contributed by staff at all Planters Bank locations, the Season of Giving cookbooks are $15 and may be purchased by visiting any Planters Bank branch. All proceeds from the cookbook sales at each branch will be donated to that location’s chosen non-profit. Visit www.plantersbankonline.com for branch locations, directions and hours.
In addition to cookbook sales, select posts on Planters Bank’s Facebook and Twitter will earn area non-profits additional donations. Each week, a charity will be featured on the Planters Bank social media pages. Each time that post is shared, Planters Bank will donate $2 to the featured charity. For those that “like” the original post featuring the charity, another $1 will be donated.
Elizabeth McCoy, President and CEO of Planters Bank, says, “We are truly blessed to have these non-profits in our communities. Our Season of Giving is just a small way that we can partner with the community and say thank you.”
